I have been teaching at Rancho Vista for the past 17 years.  It is my 4thcareer.   Previously, I worked at Disneyland (where I met my wife), an oil company and I had my own company.  I also have been a farmer for the past 33 years.  My 18 acre farm has always been in Temecula, but I didn’t move here until 1990.  I grow organic avocados, lemons and persimmons for sale and I have at least one of every other kind of fruit tree for eating.

I am a grandfather with 2 boys and 1 girl as grandchildren.  They are aged 2 to 9.  Between them, my wife and 2 daughters, I feel very blessed.  Both of my daughters are teachers here in Temecula.  I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family.  My other interests include my 1957 MGA roadster, reading a good book and going to a good movie.

I have lived in the valley for over 20 years. Graduated from Murrieta Valley High School and got my Bachelor’s Degree from BIOLA University.  Later, after spending years in Medical Sales I went back to school and got my Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree from AZUSA Pacific University.  Additionally, I finished my Administration Credential in 2017.  I have now been teaching Biology and P.E. at Rancho Vista High School for over 5 years.  This year with the help of my principal, I was able to integrate Microsoft Surface Pro’s into my curriculum, and now most of my lessons and activities are done electronically on the Surface Pro’s.

I enjoy spending time with my family, being active outside and volunteering at my church.  My wife and I recently returned from a month in Italy where we taught English to elementary Italian students in a summer camp.  We love experiencing new exiting things and look forward to what the future holds for us.
