The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) demonstrates how STEM concepts are increasingly integral to the fashion industry. From digital media and audio technology in marketing campaigns, to data-driven supply chain management and innovative material development, STEM skills enhance every aspect of fashion. FIDM’s programs prepare students not only for creative roles like fashion and costume design, merchandising, and graphic/interior design, but also for applying technical, analytical, and technological skills in real-world industry settings. Its alumni, working with brands like Nike and Victoria’s Secret or in Hollywood costume design, highlight the intersection of creativity and STEM in shaping modern fashion. If you do not want your student to participate please fill out the OPT-OUT form.
